Fort Mill Access - Closed

The Fort Mill Access Area on Grey Rock Road in Tega Cay, S.C. will be temporarily closed to the general public beginning Thursday, January 15, 2009, for the construction of upgrades at the access area. The access area is scheduled to reopen mid-April 2009. The upgrades include two concrete fishing platforms in the tailrace section of the Wylie Hydro Station, an improved walking trail to access the fishing platforms, an improved paved parking area with additional parking spaces and a concrete turn-around in the vicinity of the existing boat ramp. . The upgrades at the Fort Mill Access Area fall will help provide safe and accessible access to their reservoirs for recreational use.
